Product Description
Use of a sanitary pad is recommended with all vaginal suppositories to protect clothing and bedding. Vaginal suppositories are best inserted at bedtime to ensure that the suppository is kept in contact with the vaginal and cervical tissue for the longest time. Patients should be instructed to insert the suppository well into the vagina to make sure it reaches the cervix and is not expelled. All suppositories should be kept away from heat and preferable in a cool, dry place as to prevent any melting. Refrigeration is recommended for most suppositories. Patients should be reminded to store them carefully to prevent melting.
